Warm Ups (0-5 min)

Shoot and Clap (0 -3 min)

This is a drill to teach the lil ninjas about level changing, shooting and standing.  These are all great mechanics for leg takedowns at older ages.

Bridge and Clap (4 -7  min)

This is a drill to teach the lil ninjas about doing a shoulder bridge.  Bridging is a skill and technique that will help all throughout their Jiu Jitsu Training.

Mount Holding Push and Swim F.ollow and L.isten (8 -10 min)

Show the skill with students facing forward emphsizing bringing the hand by the belt, or "belly button" .

Show the skill with students facing forward emphsizing bringing the hand by the belt, or "belly button" .

Mount Holding Push and Swim W.ith another student  (14 -17 min)

Show the skill with students facing forward emphsizing bringing the hand by the belt, or "belly button" .

Mount Holding Scoop F.ollow and L.isten  (18 - 22 min)

Without using the thumb, demonstrate how to scoop a push off the knee.

Make sure to look for kids using the listening positiions and call them out first make the turns fast and move to the next person.
